Three million pets are adopted every year in America and we want to hear about YOUR very special "one in 3 million." The Friends of Oakland Animal Services (FOAS) 2018 calendar will feature the pictures of adopted animals, along with a story about what makes each of them unique.

Enter your favorite photo of your Pet to win one of 12 coveted spots in the 2018 Calendar. The top vote earner will be on the cover of the calendar and will also be featured on one month, with the remaining eleven featured one per month. At least the top 4 dogs and top 4 cats will earn spots in the calendar, and 2 spots are reserved for "other" animals. FOAS reserves the right to fill the "other" category with cats or dogs if we do not receive enough "other" entries.

This year we are partnering with Soulful Pet Photography and Oakocalyptic Designs to do a professional photo shoot of each of the first and second place vote earners. The photo shoot will result in a professional-quality photo for use in the calendar as well as a print of one photo for the pet owner. Purchase of any additional prints by the pet owner is optional and can be coordinated with the photographer if desired. Calendar layout will be designed by Morgan McGuire Design.

We invite you to join the fun by participating in this special fundraiser. All proceeds will go toward our new community spay/neuter program. The contest winners will be determined by public online voting.

Those who purchase $20 or more of votes qualify to receive a calendar. ($20 for pick up at OAS, $23 to have it shipped to your home)
