Welcome to the 2025 Wag to my Heart Dog Calendar Contest.
The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the TOP 12 entrants that get the most votes. Grand Prize for most votes:- Your dog's image will be featured on the coveted cover of the 2025 Dogs of Hillsboro Calendar
- PLUS, a limited edition treats from Puppernickel with your dog featured on the packaging.
1st through 12th Place- Professional photo shoot with Wag to My Heart, your pup featured on one of the monthly calendar spreads
Grand Prize - Calendar Photo Session
The top 12 vote getters will have their pet professionally photographed by
Wag to my Heart Studio for the 2025 calendar.
- If your pet is one of the 12 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your pet to Wag to my Heart studio or at a selected location in greater Portland. You must be available for your dog to be photographed in the months of Sept or Oct for a professional on-location photo session. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar.
- The photographer, Wag to my Heart Photography, will choose the best image of the pets to be used in the calendar.

Wag to my Heart is a portrait studio that provides custom portraits for pet lovers. Each client doesn't get just a photoshoot, but a full client experience.
Funds Go Toward
Entry fees and votes will go toward making the calendar, treat packaging from the #1 spot, and help a local entrepreneur stay a float during these lean times.
With that said Wag to my Heart studio donates many hours through the year to the Oregon Humane Society, Dove Lewis, Angels with Misplaced Wings, and other non-profits needing assistance.
We've donated more than $16K. Benefactors include: Pacific Pug Rescue, Bonnie L. Hays Shelter & OHS.
