Pet's Story or Bio
Rio is our families wonderful rescue. He was rescued from the streets of central California by Imagine Peace for Pups. He was in bad shape weighing only 42 pounds, covered in fleas and roaming the streets.
He is about 4 years old now and he's been part of our pack for 2 years. He is the most grateful dog I have ever owned, the biggest goof ever, and I love him so much. He and his Husky sister, Layla, are the best of friends and are perfect together. When Rio is not getting the attention he demands, in true Husky fashion, he will let you know with very loud Awoooooo's. He will literally sit on you for belly rubs and scratches. He loves car rides to adventures, big bear hugs, zoomies in the yard, and pulling branches off my peach tree.
Rio and his sister love going to Grand Fur Lodge 2x a week to have safe, supervised play with their friends. A tired Husky is a happy Husky.
All my friends know that when they leave my home, the take some husky hair with them.
