Pin-Up Route 66 Photo Contest

June 12th, 2007 Perry and Vanessa Pack knew that their precious baby Ayden Rae was going to be born sleeping due to lack of care during her pregnancy because of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG). That day Ayden Rae's parents said enough was enough! Ayden Rae's mother wanted to host an awareness walk every weekend and Ayden Rae's father held his wife's hand and said, "Honey, I understand what you want to achieve, but there are only so many hours in a day!"

He then said, "What we want to do is create a large annual event and Route 66 has been a focal point in our families lives for generations. We are going to do an annual event spanning the entire length of Route 66 and reach people worldwide." Vanessa's eyes filled with tears as she realized that her husband was right, and she knew that this was one way to help keep her daughter's memory alive by helping keep Route 66 alive. The Pack's vowed to partner with others who had similar missions to have fun keeping memories alive while keeping Route 66 alive. The Pack's understood that there must be travelers visiting Route 66 to keep the businesses open and thriving.

The Ayden Rae Foundation spreads awareness worldwide online and all along Route 66 each year through Route 66 Meet-Ups, Elite Quarter Mania Auctions, and the Pin-Up Route 66 Photo Contest.
