My pinup name is Vera Von Dame and I am also President of Olympia, Washington's Rockabilly Mafia Dolls Chapter. I enjoy being part of a sisterhood that works with and gives back to our local communities. I am also excited to enter this contest, raising awareness of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) and The Ayden Rae Foundation. This foundation is a worldwide awareness organization dedicated to advocacy for Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG) sufferers as well as expanding outreach for education, research, and an eventual cure. I myself suffered from this complication, during my first pregnancy, and lost around 25 lbs in the first 3 months. I was fortunate enough not to lose my son. Unfortunately, some are not so fortunate.

In my spare time, I am a mom of 3 human children and 3 animal children. I am a high school art teacher and a volunteer. Born in Memphis, TN, I lived in many places, including Germany, before settling in Olympia, WA. I've lived here for 8 years and am proud to call this town my home.
