Mt Juliet Animal Shelter’s First Photo Fundraiser!
Welcome to our Photo Fundraiser! This is our first photo fundraiser and pet calendar featuring your own rescued pets to raise funds for our vital services which include animal sheltering and adoptions, investigations of animal cruelty and neglect, veterinary care, and so much more!
It's easy to participate!
Submit your favorite photo of your pet that you rescued from us and then encourage your family and friends to vote for your pet's picture. We wanted to highlight all the previously adopted pets from us, whether cat, dog, or otherwise. If you have adopted from the Mt Juliet Animal Care & Control, you can enter the contest, no matter where you live! All you will have to do is provide the name you adopted under and, if possible, the kennel name of said pet. (This will make it easier to see when your pet was adopted from us!)
Prizes
12 lucky participants with the most votes will have their pets featured for one of the months in the calendar and get a free copy of the calendar. Others, of the judges choosing, will be featured in a collage in said calendar.
How many votes do I need to have my pet featured on a month spread in the calendar?
The top vote-getter from each category (dogs, cats, and other pets) will win a featured month spread in the 2025 calendar.
All entries that meet eligibility requirements will be considered for month spreads in the 2025 calendar.
Pro tip: High-resolution photos (300 dpi or greater) in landscape (horizontal) format have the best chance of winning a month spread.
We encourage themed pictures to garner more votes to be featured in specific months.

Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet
Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! It is not required that you adopted from us, this is for anyone and everyone! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.
