Max was sent to me by one of my dogs who had recently gone to the Rainbow Bridge. I was grief-stricken and wanted a walking buddy. I’d never owned a big dog, but his face in the picture at the shelter was soul crushing. Max ran away the first night home but miraculously found his way back by himself! He never meets a stranger, LOVES dog friends, lives for car rides, and prefers red Starburst over lemon. He had to learn how to walk on a leash and now it’s the highlight of his day! “Miracle Max (formerly Marathon) is the love of my life!
