I worked for the shelter for one month before I met this little cutie as a 3 month old puppy and the first words out of my mouth were "Oh no". I desperately text my husband and told him that I had never wanted a dog so bad in my life.

We ended up fostering him but when it was time to bring him back, I sat in my car and cried for an hour after we put him back; that's when I knew


So, I walked back in, filed the paperwork, and took him back home where he belonged. I didn't choose him, Balto chose me.
