Welcome to the Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue Calendar Contest!
Do you think YOUR Yankee rescue dog could be the next iconic cover boy or girl? Here is your chance to have your YGRR 4-legged family member featured in our 2025 calendar! Enter your best photo, share your YGRR dog’s story, and get as many votes as you can by sharing far and wide!
It’s an easy process:
1. Enter your photo for free into the contest during the contest timeframe, following the contest rules.
2. Gather votes for your photo by sharing with your family, friends, and co-workers! Share on social media or send a link via email or text!
3. Keep an eye! As the contest winds down to the end, make sure you have all your friends and family ready to vote during the madness of the final day!
YGRR will also be sharing the contest to our social media. The public will vote for their favorites! The 12 YGRR dog photos with the most votes will receive a larger picture in our 2025 calendar and the dog with the most votes will win the coveted calendar cover placement.
Once your entry is confirmed, send the "share" links to your social media, family and friends. Votes are viewable real-time and everyone can track their dog’s progress.
If you don’t plan to enter the contest, you can still support YGRR by voting!!
2025 contest opens 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 8, 2024 and closes at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, July 31, 2024.
Rules
CONTEST RULES
- All photos MUST be of a YGRR dog to be entered.
- Submitting your photo(s) is free.
- Votes are $1 each. You can vote as often as you like, as many times as you like! Only votes completed on the actual GoGo Photo Contest site are valid. If you complete any donation process elsewhere – it does not count towards vote.
- Please no filters, text or watermarks.
- Dogs only! No humans in the photo entries please.
- Please submit as a JPEG, PNG, or TIFF with as high resolution as possible. Please do not crop or resize.
- You must own the copyright of the photograph(s) entered.
- Photo submission means that you consent for photo(s) to be posted for voting and to be featured in the 2025 YGRR calendar. YGRR retains the rights to use any submitted photo in any advertising, social media, or printing in the future.
- Tell your dog's story or share a bit about them! We encourage you to type up a paragraph that will help your dog gain attention and votes!
- Please share your entry with others and encourage them to vote!
1st Place Top Winner: The photo with the MOST votes at the end of the contest will be our Calendar Cover Photo, and will also get the first choice of a month placement within the calendar. This winner will also receive two free YGRR 2025 Calendars!
2nd-12th Place Winners: These photos will each receive a month placement within the calendar. These winners will have the chance to choose what month they would like their photo to represent, in order of placement following the choice of the 1st Place Winner. (2nd place gets second choice, 3rd place gets third choice, etc.). The 2nd-12th place winners will also all receive one free YGRR 2025 Calendar!
All winners (1st-12th place) will be notified via email after the contest has ended.Some of the additional photos outside of the 12 winners may be chosen for the small squares on each month.
Winners will be monitored by GoGo Photo Contest and are final.
