2024 STAHR Holiday Pet Photo Contest

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer with your furry friends! STAHR’s Annual Holiday Pet Photo Contest is back, and we want to see your pets decked out in their finest festive attire! Whether they’re wearing a silly sweater, posing with twinkling lights, or simply sharing a cozy moment by the tree, this is the perfect opportunity to show off your pets' holiday spirit.

How It Works: Submit your favorite holiday-themed pet photo and have a chance to win exciting prizes! Your submission will help support the lifesaving work of STAHR!

Grand prize:

Brew Your Own Beer: Work side-by-side with Badass Backyard Brewing brewmaster to design and brew a unique craft beer that reflects your pet's personality. Whether it’s a bold IPA or a smooth stout, the choice is yours!

Name the Beer: Your pet's name will become legendary, as it takes center stage on the virtual label of the beer you’ve helped create. Immortalize your four-legged friend in the world of craft beer!

Custom Swag: Receive exclusive Badass Backyard Brewing swag, including a custom beer glass, branded apparel, and limited-edition gear featuring your pet’s name and the new beer’s virtual label.

Rules

Participants must be at least 21 years old to enter & win
Entry and voting period is 12:00:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Sunday, December 1, 2024 through 8:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, December 30, 2024.
The date ranges for weekly prizes are as follows:
- Week 1: December 1st, 12:00am - December 7th, 11:59pm
- Week 2: December 8th, 12:00am - December 14th, 11:59pm
- Week 3: December 15th, 12:00am - December 21st, 11:59pm
- Week 4: December 22nd, 12:00am - December 28th, 8:00pm
The entry with the highest total votes by 8:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, December 30, 2024 will receive the grand prize.
Grand prize winner must be willing to travel to Spokane Valley, WA to collaborate with Badass Backyard Brewery. An agreed upon collaboration schedule must be determined by January 31st 2025. Failure to respond to correspondence from STAHR or Badass Backyard Brewery may result in the grand prize going to the second place winner.
Weekly prize winners must live within Spokane County for delivery of prizes or pay for shipping of prizes. Failure to respond to correspondence from STAHR may result in the weekly prize going to the second place winner of the week.
Photos must only contain domestic pets
Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest without entry refund
STAHR has final approval on all photos submitted
Once photos are entered, you grant STAHR the right to use them at its discretion for print and marketing purposes.

About Us

STAHR’s mission is to provide short term after hours rescue services to displaced pets during non business hours of the local shelters. Our primary goal is to reunite pets with their people prior to transporting them to a shelter.

Our foster based sheltering approach reduces stress on displaced pets and reduces intakes in our overcrowded shelters.

STAHR is community centered, providing ongoing microchip clinics on a donation basis. Microchipping your pet provides identification for your pet and gives them the best chances of being reunited with you, should they happen to go missing.

STAHR is also in the process of launching no-cost microchip scanners located throughout our community. We hope that easier access to scanners will create opportunities for quicker reunification and continue to reduce stress on our sheltering and veterinary systems.
