Join our fundraiser that will raise critical funds to feed and provide veterinary care for 100 rescued horses and 30 other animals of Save the Horses Rescue in Cumming, GA.
We are looking for your best pictures of your favorite Save the Horses rescue animals, past or present.
Your image could receive the highest number of votes, and as a result, it could grace the cover of the 2025 Calendar!

There are four ways you can participate:
1. ENTER THE CONTEST

Submit your favorite picture of a Save the Horses rescue (past or present) for a chance to win a place in the calendar and the opportunity to be featured on the cover of the 2025 Save the Horses Calendar. Each entry is $25. (You will receive a free calendar for each paid entry.)
IMPORTANT: All submitted images must be taken in LANDSCAPE mode - so turn your phone or cameras sideways.
2. VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE

Once your photo is approved, SHARE the link with your photo with family and friends and invite them to VOTE.
(votes are $1 each) for your photo. You could WIN. The top 13 votes will win a spot in the 2025 Save the Horses Rescue Calendar!
3. PRE ORDER 2025 CALENDARS TODAY

Rescue Calendars are available for pre-order.
They're $25 each (includes domestic shipping.) or $20 if you choose to pick it up at our Cumming farm.
Calendars will be available for pickup or mailed out in early November.
4. RESERVE A DAY

Want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Celebrate your own pet with a picture of them on a special day in the calendar. Reserve a special day to honor (birthday, in memory, etc.) of your own or a loved one's pet. Your pet's image (horse, dog, cat, fish, etc) will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. Each day is a $15 donation.

Rules
The Guidelines
Note: Photos must be high resolution to be reproduced. If a winning photo is not, the next highest vote will be selected.
Eligible Images
- Each entry is a $25 tax deductible (to the extent required by law) donation to Save the Horses.org.
- Entries must be received by 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
- Each photograph must include a CLEAR image of a Save the Horses (STH) Rescue animal past or present.
- Do not copy photos from Facebook or a website - the resolution is too poor to reproduce. The photo needs to come from your camera/camera phone at the highest quality setting.
- More than one Save the Horses rescue can be featured in the photo. However, no other animals are allowed in the photos, please.
- ALL PHOTOS MUST BE HORIZONTAL/LANDSCAPE format.
- Photos must be at least 300dpi and at least 1MB in size- 3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes. Photos of lesser resolution cannot be used as they do not produce calendar-quality printed photographs.
- Please no filtered/photoshopped or altered images.
- Participants may only submit photos to which they have the rights to reproduce.
- Photos with red eyes or glowing eyes will not be accepted.
- Submitted photographs become the property of STH. STH reserves the right to crop, resize, or edit a photo if necessary.
- Photographs may be color, black and white, or sepia toned. No other digital effects will be accepted.
- All photos must be uploaded; we cannot accept printed photos.
- All submitted photos become the property of Save the Horses to be used at their discretion for any and all marketing purposes.
Save the Horses has final approval on all photos submitted to our website and/or calendar. You may be asked to submit an alternate photo if the image does not meet our requirements. Images that are inappropriate or that contain advertising messages will be removed.

Voting
- The contest winners will be determined by public online voting. 100% of proceeds benefit abused, starved, and neglected animals we serve.
- Voting by donation ends at 10:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, October 20, 2024.
- Each vote costs $1. ($5 minimum)
- There’s no limit on how many times people can vote. The voting proceeds are all tax-deductible donations to Save the Horses. All votes must be paid for online via the contest’s secure checkout system; you will receive a tax receipt by email when your transaction is complete.
Spread the Word
- You'll want to spread the word about the contest to friends, family, coworkers and anyone you can think of and ask them to support your entry by voting for your animal’s picture. We will make it easy for you to get the word out, so when the contest begins you will able to link your entry in the voting gallery directly to your Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, email accounts and more. It’s up to you to spread the word, encourage people to vote by donation, and make sure your photo wins - all while supporting Save the Horses.

Prizes
Grand Prize
The photo with the most votes will win the coveted 2025 Save the Horses Calendar Cover. Plus you will receive a free calendar.
First Prize
Top 12 votes - featured animal for one of the twelve months. Plus you will receive a free calendar.
Second Prize
The Save the Horses Board will vote on photos that will appear as smaller photos in each month. You will be contacted if your photo is selected.
Additionally, all winners will be featured on Save the Horses's website and Facebook page.
