Since opening our doors in 2017, Royal Animal Refuge has rescued over 2,500 homeless pets. We are a non-profit private rescue and shelter dedicated to helping the homeless, neglected, and mistreated pets. We rely on fundraising and donor support to provide much needed medical attention, care and housing. Our dedicated volunteers help at the shelter in every capacity including kennel cleaning, laundry, transport, feeding, medical care, and providing much needed love and attention so that these sweet and goofy personalities bloom!

To win, ask everyone you know to vote for your dog or cat – share your entry on social media and by email with family, friends and co-workers. The top winner in each category (Dog and Cat) will be featured on the label of a limited-edition pilsner brew by Line Creek Brewing. Additionally, the top 6 winners in each category with the most votes will be featured as the cover photo on their special edition 2021 Weekly Planner (8.5 x 11 twin-loop wirebound)! In case of a tie, both winners will each receive their own Weekly Planner cover. The contest is open to everyone.

The top winner in each category will be the featured together on the label of a limited-edition brew by our presenting sponsor,  Line Creek Brewing.

The top 6 winners in each category with the most votes will be featured as the cover photo of a special edition 2021 Weekly Planner (8.5 x 11 spiral bound)! In case of a tie, both winners will be featured as the cover photo of their own Weekly Planner.

Want a guaranteed spot in the planner? Reserve a day to honor your pet's adoption day, birthday, freedom ride, or in memory of your pet! Your pet’s photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available. You need not enter the planner photo contest to Reserve-a-Day. Each day is $15.

Enjoy Royal Animal Refuge's 2021 Weekly Planner! Please consider pre-ordering your weekly planner. This helps RAR purchase the right number of planners, so we don't waste valuable rescue funds on extra stock. During this contest, planners are available for a donation of $25 each (includes shipping). Contest entry not required.

Planners will be available for pick up after November 15 from the shelter or mailed if you choose shipping.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help us continue our efforts to rescue, rehab and rehome adoptable dogs and cats.

• While we all love our pets, your dog or cat may have a companion. Please feel free to include them in the photo if it is one of your favorites. [PETS ONLY IN PHOTO, NO PEOPLE.]
• Please provide high resolution photos so they will reproduce well. The better the resolution, the nicer the photograph will reproduce on the planner. If a winning photo is not high resolution and we are unable to obtain a high resolution, we reserve the right to select the next photo with the most votes.
• When providing your pet's bio, keep in mind that people love to read about where you adopted your pet from (it doesn't have to be a Royal dog or cat), how you learned about your pet, funny characteristics that you might want to share, any inspirational thoughts that might have, or positive impacts your pet has made.
• By submitting your photo, you agree to provide nonexclusive rights for Royal Animal Refuge to reproduce the photo for other purposes including marketing, educational or fundraising campaigns.
• The more you share your entry in the contest with friends, social media, at work, the better chances you have to win one of the top spots and make an impact with helping homeless pets. Votes are $1 per vote, $5 minimum.
• This is a fun and exciting way to show you care as a rescue supporter!
