Welcome to our Calendar Fundraiser! Haven Pet Center is thrilled to announce the return of our photo fundraiser and pet calendar, supporting our crucial services such as animal sheltering and adoptions, veterinary care, enrichment, and more!
Participation is simple! Submit your beloved pet's photo and rally your loved ones to vote for your furry friend.
Your entry automatically includes a complimentary copy of the 2025 calendar, scheduled for mailing in the fall of 2024. Additionally, all entries receiving 5 votes or more are guaranteed inclusion in the calendar or collage pages!
How Many Votes for a Featured Month?
The highest vote earner from each category (dogs, cats, and other pets) will earn a coveted month spread in the 2025 calendar.
All eligible entries will be considered for month spreads.
Tip: For the best chance at winning a month spread, submit high-resolution photos (300 dpi or greater) in landscape format.

Reserve a Day to Honor Your Pet
Just want a guaranteed spot in the calendar? Reserve a day to honor your pet. This can be for your pet's adoption anniversary, birthday, loved one's birthday, memorial or really any special day! Your pet's photo will appear on the day of your choice. Just choose your favorite photo and then choose the day and pay! First come first served! Once a date has been reserved, it will no longer be available.

All entrants will receive a 2025 calendar by mail in the fall of 2024.
Prizes are not transferable and may not be redeemed for cash.
*If the photo submitted does not meet calendar requirements, a new color portrait will be taken of the pet by a professional photographer chosen by Haven Pet Center (if winner is local). The photograph will be taken at a mutually agreed upon location. A $50 Petco gift card will be offered to those who are not able to meet the requirements of the guidelines.
How Much Is The Entry Fee?
- The entry fee is $25 per photo. This fee includes one copy of the 2025 wall calendar that will be mailed to you in the fall of 2024. You can make an additional donation during the entry process that will count as votes* toward your submitted photo(s). All proceeds from the contest entries and votes will go directly to support Haven Pet Centers vital programs and services.
*A minimum of 5 votes is required for guaranteed inclusion in the 2025 calendar
How Many Photos Can I Enter?
- You can enter as many as you'd like!
- Each entry has a $25 entry fee.
What are the eligibility requirements?
- Photos of cats, dogs, horses, small mammals, reptiles and birds are accepted.
- Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Haven Pet Center to be eligible to enter the contest.
- Photos may contain more than one pet.
- Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or higher) to be considered for a month spread.
- Photos must be in landscape (horizontal) format to be considered for a month spread.
- Photos must only contain pets (no people or wildlife).
- Photos must be full color, with no heavy editing or alterations.
- Photos must feature pets owned by the photographer OR the entrant must have permission to submit the photo.
Can I enter professional photos of my pet?
- Yes, but you MUST obtain permission from the photographer to enter the photo in the contest.
- Photographs with photographer's watermarks will not be eligible to be included in the calendar.

How many votes do I need to have my pet featured on a month spread in the calendar?
- The top vote-getter from each category (dogs, cats and other pets) will win a featured month spread in the 2025 calendar.
- All other entries that meet eligibility requirements will be considered for month spreads in the 2025 calendar.
How do I vote for a pet's photo?
- Votes are $1 each and all votes are tax-deductible. You can vote for your own pet's photo(s) as many times as you'd like!
- Vote online:
- Click on the View Entries and Vote link. Search the pet's name and click on their photo. You can then cast your vote(s) on the pet's page!
- The deadline to cast votes is 5:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, August 5, 2024.
- Easily share your pet's photo entry on social media by using the buttons on their page. Share with your friends and family and get them to vote!
Rules and Eligibility:

- Multiple pets can feature in a single photo.
- Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) and in landscape format for calendar consideration.
- Only domestic pets (no people or wildlife) are allowed in photos.
- Photos must be full-color and minimally edited.
- Watermarked photos by professional photographers are ineligible.
- Offensive or indecent photos will be disqualified.
- Photos must garner at least 5 votes for calendar inclusion.
- Online submissions close at 4:00:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Monday, August 5, 2024.
- All submitted photos become the property of Haven Pet Center.
