We adopted Abbey from the Lake Elsinore Animal Shelter. She was going to be my husband’s garage cat, instead she became my lap cat. She was my first kitten/cat, who started me on cat adoptions. In 2018 at the age of 6 she had a stroke and over the next few weeks she just continued to go down hill and we were going to put her down. Our Vet, Dr. D. asked that we try one more treatment of liquid prednisone, and surprise, to all of us, in a few days she was a little better and continued to improve daily; she is now 12 y.o. In her picture she is on one of her favorite spots on top of the dog crate.
