Heidi (then called both "Elbows" and "Snickers") was picked up off the road in Bethal, Ohio, malnourished, dehydrated and with 24 ticks on her body. No word as to how long she had been living on her own and what trauma she had endured. GRRAND rescued her and she came to Louisville where Ruth and I adopted her in September 2022. She was hyper-anxious and refused to walk. Through much work, she is still coming around and has proved to be a sweet and good-natured girl. She co-habitates with our cat and is great with the young grandkids. Genetic testing (twice) confirms she is an F1 Goldendoodle (black poodle no doubt).
