Welcome to the Greater Huntsville Humane Society's 2024 Pet Photo Contest! The contest is a meaningful way to celebrate your pet while supporting GHHS, as 100% of the proceeds will be used to help our pets in our care. Please join GHHS and our pet-loving community by showing off your
furry, feathered, or scaled pet while helping the shelter pets awaiting their forever homes!
Don't forget to encourage your friends and family to vote for your pet's photo. The top photos with the most votes will receive PAWESOME prizes from local community partners AND be featured in the 2024 GHHS Serving Up FURever Love cookbook!The PPC "LIVE" Voting Party will be hosted Monday, 9/30, 5PM-7PM at Three Tails Resale!
Winner will be announced at 7:01PM, based on the votes received by 7PM (central)!

Runners-up
Pets that come in 2nd through 12th Place (with the most votes) will have their photo featured as one of the main photos on one of the cookbook tabs! Each tab will also be sponsored by one of our local, community partners too!Pets that come in 2nd through 3rd Place (with the most votes) will also receive a community partner basket valued at over $100!
ALL pets submitted will be featured throughout the cookbook, in multiple sizes and in black & white or color!
Rules- Entering a Photo
- Only PETS in photos!
- Your photo may contain more than one pet, just no humans.
- The photos will be used in print, which requires a higher resolution photo (minimum of 2,000 x 2,000 pixels or greater).
- Submit photos in a JPEG file format.
- Landscape orientation photos are best!
- We cannot accept poor quality photos, or photos with extensive Photoshop, text, or questionable content.
- Your pet does not have to be adopted from, GHHS to be eligible to enter the contest.
- You may enter as many of your pets as you would like - however, each pet can only be entered once, and the entry fee applies to each pet entered.
- Entries can be submitted online starting at 12PM on Monday, 9/2/2024!
- Entries can be submitted in person! Please follow socials for more information regarding this process.
- Once entered, photos become the property of GHHS to be used for print and marketing purposes.
Rules- Voting
- Public votes for photo entries can be submitted online beginning at 12PM on 9/7/2024 through 7PM Monday, 9/30/2024.
- Votes cannot be combined or moved from one entry to another.
- The "live" voting party will be held at Three Tails Resale on 9/30, 5PM-7PM. Snacks and beverages will be provided, along with a special shopping night at the store!
Winner will be announced at 7:01PM on Monday, 9/30, based on the votes received by 7PM!
* The ending time for the online voting portion will be solely determined by the host website’s server, or GHHS’ business clock if submitted in person. Keep in mind that your clock may differ from the clock that determines the ending time.
