The trees, trails, wildlife, and wildflowers of Forest Park have been admired for their natural beauty by the community for decades. For over 30 years, the Forest Park Conservancy has worked to ensure Forest Park is protected and adequately maintained for generations to come.

This summer, we celebrating this work with a photography contest. Whether you're an amateur or professional photographer, you can help us support Forest Park and continue our work simply by entering the Forest Park Photography Contest.

Photographers of all ages and abilities can enter photos through our online platform. By capturing and sharing what you love about Forest Park as only a nature photographer can, you’ll help spread awareness and passion for safeguarding this 5,200-acre urban forest for generations to come. Help us protect, restore, and connect people to Forest Park.

The top winner with the most number of votes will receive all of the prizes listed above along with a $300 gift certificate to Pro Photo Supply and will be featured on the cover of the 2021 Forest Park Calendar. 

The top 3 photos with the most votes:

Will receive a free calendar, a Forest Park Poster Map, and will have their photo printed as an art print in 11 x 14 format by Pro Photo Supply.

Will be featured in the 2021 Forest Park Calendar will receive a free calendar, and a Forest Park Poster Map, suitable for framing.

Winners will be announced at the close of the contest.

Forest Park Conservancy reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. In the event of a dispute regarding the winners, the Forest Park Conservancy reserves the right to award or not award the prizes in its sole discretion. The Forest Park Conservancy reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whose entry or conduct appears in any way to: inhibit the enjoyment of others; tamper with the competition; violate these rules or other applicable law or regulation; infringe on the rights of third parties, or act in a disruptive manner.
