The story behind the photo
I was walking on the very popular lower Macleay Trail and heard a lot of ruckus. Turns out, there was not one, but FIVE Barred Owls all within 100 ft of each other! (they're very territorial). I literally RAN home and grabbed my camera, and biked back, and walked to the point to get these shots. Apparently at one point 3 were all together. (by the time I got there, there was down to 2 together).
