Rules

Participants in the Canadian Heritage Photography Foundation ("CHPF") Photo Contest must be Canadian residents. Voters are welcome from outside of Canada.
The CHPF photography competition encourages entries from students, professional photographers, hobby photographers and photography enthusiasts.
On an annual basis, there will be a number of competitions to win. Winners will have their photograph featured on the CHPF website, social media platforms and have their image preserved in the CHPF digital collections permanent archive. See Prizes for more information.
Donations made in support of each picture are valued at one vote for every $1.00 donated.
The Foundation requests highest quality image files to ensure long term preservation of the photo. Photos are requested at 300 ppi and no less than 72 ppi.
By agreeing to upload an image, you will also acknowledge and give permission to CHPF to use the winning photographs for future various CHPF content including publications, promotions, and materials, website and social media posting.
CHPF reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or submissions which do not meet the monthly theme criteria. Donations collected less a 50% processing fee for all disqualified entries will be refunded, if requested by the donor.
CHPF reserves the right to permanently disqualify registrants from all future competitions, if the above rules are disregarded.
Employees and Board Members of Canadian Heritage Photography Foundation (“CHPF”), as well as such employees’ and Board member’s immediate family (father/mother, brother/sister, son/daughter) or persons living under the same roof are not eligible to enter this Contest.
