2024 Rescue Pet Calendar Photo Contest

Welcome to the 2024 Rescue Pet Calendar Photo Contest!

It's time to choose which rescue pet YOU want to see in the 2024 Castaway Critters Calendar! Pet parents everywhere, start snapping photos of your adorable furry pet or pets and get ready to submit them for judging. *Pets are not limited to just dogs and cats. They can be goats, bunnies, or even hamsters. As long as they are RESCUES we want to see them in our contest!

All ACCEPTABLE photo entries are included in the calendar. 12 entries will be featured in the calendar's monthly pages and all other photos will be featured on the collage page(s). The entry with the most online votes will not only be featured as one of the Pets of the Month, but will also be the front cover pet!

Encourage your friends and family to vote!! Votes are $1 each with a minimum donation of $5 (5 votes). Remember, each vote is another dollar to help us rescue more critters in need!

Rules

Photo Eligibility:

Photos can be of ANY pet, as long as they were RESCUED/ADOPTED. Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from Castaway Critters to be eligible to enter this contest. We will not include pets that were bought from a breeder or pet store.
All photo submissions must include Pets name, Pet Owner/Families Name, City & State, where they were rescued from, and a short comment about the pet.
Your photo may contain more than one pet.
Photos must be high resolution (3650 pixels x 2740 pixels is preferred for printing purposes).
People are not allowed in your photo, only pets.
We cannot accept Polaroids, heavily edited photos, photos with stickers or doodles or any copyrighted or professional photos.
Once entered, photos become the property of Castaway Critters to be used for print and marketing purposes.

Castaway Critters reserves the right to deny any photo submission for any reason and a full refund of the entry donation will be provided.

Entry Fee:

Each photo entry is a $15 tax deductible donation to Castaway Critters
12 entries will be featured in the calendars monthly pages. Any additional photos will be featured on the "collage" page(s).
All photo submissions will be tabulated and displayed online.

Voting:

Once a photo is uploaded, it will appear in the online gallery on our GoGo Photo website and be open to voting by the general public. Votes are $1 each with a minimum donation of $5 (5 votes).
Online voting will end at 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 31, 2023
Winners will be announced on our website by August 20, 2023.

Calendars will be available through Castaway Critters & other local veterinary clinics and stores for purchase in early November 2023
