Nugget is the most gentle and loving dog. She is the calmest golden retriever I’ve ever met. She was originally adopted to be a companion to my late husband, who at the time was very unsteady on his feet and used a cane or walker. Nugget was a perfect match because even at the age of 18 months, she never jumped or barked. And when my husband was in home hospice, she gently lay next to him to comfort him in the hospital bed. Nugget originally was rescued from a slaughter house in China. She was extremely shy and timid, but now she has such confidence and personality. She basks in all the love and attention she gets where ever she goes. Nugget was my yoga companion throughout the pandemic, when I did classes at home online.
