Venture With Dogs Pet Photography and
Olive Pit Brewery are teaming up to host a fun contest benefitting local dog rescue:
Pittie Posse. All proceeds from the contest will be donated directly to Pittie Posse Rescue to help them in their mission to give bully-breed dogs a second chance.
We encourage you to submit a favorite photo of your pup(s) and ask family, friends, and loved ones to vote for them. It's that simple!
Olive Pit Brewery, located in Lisbon Falls, ME, has an empty wall space in their brewery that is the perfect place for dog portraits to be displayed. By entering this contest, you could win a spot for your pup to shine on the gallery wall! 5 lucky pup winners will have their photo taken by Venture With Dogs Pet Photography and displayed for all to see! Come out for a gallery wall reveal in October to see the winning photos, and celebrate Pitbull Awareness Month!

VOTERS will be entered into a raffle, and one randomly selected voter will win a mini session scheduled for a date in November 2024 at a custom location in Maine (within a 25-mile radius of 04252). About Us
Venture With Dogs Pet Photography is an internationally award-winning and published pet photographer based in Lisbon Falls, Maine. Kaitlyn, the owner and photographer, travels around Maine, New England, and beyond specializing in soulful imagery of dogs and their humans. In addition, Kaitlyn is committed to giving back to the dog community by supporting dog events and rescue organizations. She believes that every dog deserves a loving home, and we will do their part to help make that a reality.
Olive Pit Brewery (named after their beloved pittie, Olive Roo) is based in Lisbon Falls, Maine. Olive Pit Brewing's Christine Cain opened the first 100% woman-owned brewery in Maine. Their mission as a brewery is to provide a full spectrum of beers, with a particular focus on the broad representation of less hoppy styles, but their mission as a corporate citizen is to give back in support of animal welfare.
Pittie Posse Rescue is a bully-breed rescue based in Maine and rescues animals from high-kill cities across the country as well as local owner surrenders and dogs seized in cruelty/criminal cases. They also rehabilitate and offer training of rescued dogs in their care. Pittie Posse is on a mission to teach, model, and spread the concept of responsible dog ownership.

- All winners will receive one high-resolution digital image from their session. Venture With Dogs Pet Photography will choose the best image from each shoot to be printed and hung up in Olive Pit Brewery in November 2024
- All winners will have the opportunity to purchase additional images and/or artwork, and will receive a $100 artwork credit towards this. Option for winners to purchase their dog's print at a highly discounted rate after hanging in Olive Pit Brewery
- All voters will be put into a raffle, 1 winner will receive a free mini session with VWD
- Special prizes will be announced and given out throughout the contest.
- The gallery wall will be ready for viewing and a party will be held at a predetermined date in October 2024 at Olive Pit Brewery
Each entry is a $5 fee and is non-refundable.
Votes are $1 each (every $1 donation counts as one vote and is non-refundable).
There is a limit of one dog per photo entry. People are not allowed in photos. No breed restrictions.
By submitting a photo entry, you acknowledge that your entry is your own original work. *Please do not use photos from previous professional photography sessions*
Photos deemed offensive or obscene will be removed from the contest.
The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 5 entries that receive the most votes. Winners will be monitored by GoGo Photo Contest and are final.
The top 5 entries will win a professional photo session with Venture With Dogs Pet Photography that will be scheduled for a date in September 2024 at predetermined locations throughout Maine (within a 50 mile radius of 04252) . If you are unable to commit, schedule or travel to a photo session during this time, you forfeit your winnings and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot. No exceptions.
