Rules

Submit your pet's photo (must be a dog or cat) and include your name, your pet's name, your e-mail address, and include a short paragraph describing your pet, its characteristics, favorite hobbies, or even a funny story.
PETS ONLY – The TOP 13 winners of this contest will be featured in our 2025 Calendar which will go on sale later this year. To ensure the quality of the product and the idea surrounding the campaign, we ask that all entries be of PETS ONLY. Any image with a human in it will be disqualified. If you would like to include a picture with more than one animal (2 max), you must choose which category (dog or cat) you'll be entering if it is a mixture of dogs and cats.
DIGITAL PHOTOS ONLY – No hard copy photos will be accepted. Photos should be in color, clear, of good quality and high resolution.
$5 entry fee
$1 per vote. Should you donate more than $1, you will receive a "bank" of votes that then need to be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or place some on one photo, some on another, etc.
If you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for your photo. - On your pet's public page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other social networking sites. Ask all of your friends and family to vote for your favorite photo and Share! Share! Share!
Venango County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
