Pin-Up Paws - Venango County Humane Society Pet Photo Calendar Contest

The Venango County Humane Society is excited to announce our 5th Annual Pet Photo Calendar Contest!
Does your pet have what it takes to be a pin-up model? Show us your favorite photo of your precious pet and not only will you be raising money for the rescue in our community but you have the chance to win some cool swag for yourself and have your pet featured in our 2025 calendar!

This Photo Contest is a meaningful and fun way to celebrate your pet while caring for animals at our facility who are waiting for a forever home of their own. At the end of the photo contest, Venango County Humane Society will proudly present a colorful, full-sized calendar of the winners. You can now submit a photo of your pet to be featured in the 2025 calendar, and you and your friends can vote for your pet to win great prizes. At the end of the contest, the thirteen pet photos (top 7 dogs and top 6 cats) with the most votes will win their photo on a month of their own! Please check out our official rules for complete participant guidelines and eligibility requirements.

Please note: Your pet does not have to be a rescue pet or adopted from Venango County Humane Society but we would love to see some familiar faces!

1st - 13th Place Winners
Thirteen lucky winners (Top 7 dogs and top 6 cats) with the most votes will win a month in the 5th Annual 2025 Venango County Humane Society Calendar. All winners will have a professional photo taken by a professional photographer on a Sunday in August or early September to have included in the calendar.

Rules
  • Submit your pet's photo (must be a dog or cat) and include your name, your pet's name, your e-mail address, and include a short paragraph describing your pet, its characteristics, favorite hobbies, or even a funny story.
  • PETS ONLY – The TOP 13 winners of this contest will be featured in our 2025 Calendar which will go on sale later this year. To ensure the quality of the product and the idea surrounding the campaign, we ask that all entries be of PETS ONLY. Any image with a human in it will be disqualified. If you would like to include a picture with more than one animal (2 max), you must choose which category (dog or cat) you'll be entering if it is a mixture of dogs and cats.
  • DIGITAL PHOTOS ONLY – No hard copy photos will be accepted. Photos should be in color, clear, of good quality and high resolution.
  • $5 entry fee
  • $1 per vote. Should you donate more than $1, you will receive a "bank" of votes that then need to be applied to the entries you wish to vote for. You can place all votes on one entry or place some on one photo, some on another, etc.
  • If you submit a photo to the contest, you can email links to your family and friends to encourage voting for your photo. - On your pet's public page, there is a "share" button that allows you to share your entry through Facebook and other social networking sites. Ask all of your friends and family to vote for your favorite photo and Share! Share! Share!
  • Venango County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
  • The contest ends 11:59:59 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, July 7, 2024.
