St. John the Baptist Polar Plunge

The person that raises the most money has agreed to plunge on January 11th, 2025.

All candidates will receive a gift basket and a complementary shirt for being willing to be voted on.

About us:

The k.n.o.w. Jesus bible study (kids night out with Jesus bible study) is part of our Feed My Sheep project hosted by St. John the Baptist-Gildehaus Catholic Church. It seeks to answer Jesus’ call to us; “I was hungry and you gave me food” by inviting the less fortunate kids in our community to join us for Sunday dinner followed by a bible study twice per month. The Polar Plunge is one of the multiple fundraisers we do throughout the year. All proceeds go for food and supplies for the k.n.o.w. Jesus bible study.

The Polar Plunge is hosted in celebration of the feast day of Jesus’ Baptism. We take a plunge in remembrance of your own baptism while providing an opportunity to answer Jesus’ call to us; “I was hungry and you gave me food” by raising money for the Feed My Sheep project.

Voting starts at 5:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Monday, November 25, 2024 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Friday, January 10, 2025.
A suggested $5 or charitable donation of any amount per vote.
Voters can vote for multiple people as often as they want with a minimum vote of $5.
The person who raises the most money will plunge at St. John the Baptist’s Polar Plunge on January 11th, 2025.
