Do you remember the first command you taught your dog? How many times do you think your beloved pooch will hear you say, "S i t" in his lifetime? Maybe 20,000 times? But how often does he get to sit on the good furniture. Well, this is his chance to sit in style and get praised and photographed on top of it. The winners of our 2016 Pin Up Paws S I T calendar, will be matched with a special chair and accessory to suit his personality and photographed by award winning photographer, Addison Fitzgerald. Whether your Shih Tzu belongs on an 18^th century French antique or your Bulldog is perfectly at ease lounging in a post modern Barcelona chair, it is their opportunity to really show off. And don't forget, we want those special felines to enter the contest too, even though they simply sit whenever and wherever they please.

Make sure you vote, vote, vote for your pets. Help them make it to the top by campaigning through Facebook, Twitter, email, etc. The pet with the overall most votes will be our "Cover Pet," and the 12 runners-up will each represent a month in the calendar. By placing donation votes, $1 per vote, you'll be a supporting the charity programs of St. Augustine Humane Society.

And keep an eye on our Facebook announcements.  We will run mini contests from now until the final week of the main contest.  Gift Certificates from the Columbia Restaurant will be awarded periodically to pet owners who gain new votes.

At the close of the contest, professional photo shoots will take place in preparation of the final production of the Pin Up Paws 2016 Calendar – S I T. These colorful, full-size publications will be available in October with a $10 donation (just in time for the holidays) online, by phone, at selected retail locations, and at the humane society location at 1665 Old Moultrie Rd. St. Augustine, FL 32084. 100% of all proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the St. Augustine Humane Society.
