Speak for Animals (SFA) has partnered with Other Lands to showcase our community's extraordinary cats and dogs with the second annual Sips for Snips Beer Label Contest! The winning cat and dog will have their images featured on a special Other Lands beer label to be released at the Sips for Snips reveal party on May 4th.
Think your cat or dog has what it takes to be a Speak for Animals Spokespet? For a $10 donation you can submit his/her photo and, if you would like, a brief statement about why you think your 4-legged friend would be a perfect spokescat or spokesdog! (Cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered.) Once your cat or dog is entered, ensure his/her victory by encouraging your friends and family to vote. Votes are $1/each.
The photo contest opens March 14th and runs through April 4th, 8 PM.
At the conclusion of the contest, the top vote-getting cat and top vote-getting dog will be named 2025 Speak for Animals Spokescat/Spokesdog and their images will appear on the limited-edition Other Lands beer labels. Additionally, the top three vote-getters in both the cat and dog categories will each receive a swag bag full of wonderful prizes from local businesses.
Those not making it into the top three will still have a chance to win! A Lucky Cat and Lucky Dog will be drawn at random from the contest entries. They will receive a Sips for Snips swag bag.
Prizes
Grand Prize Winners (2)
The cat and dog with the most votes will be the grand prize winners and named the 2025 Speak for Animals Spokescat and Spokesdog. Each of their images will appear on limited-edition Other Lands beer labels.

Eligibility
Photos of dogs and cats only will be accepted (no people in photo). Your cat/dog must be spayed or neutered.
Contest Period
The contest begins at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Friday, March 14, 2025 and ends at 8:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, April 4, 2025.
How to Enter
Enter online by visiting our website at www.gogophotocontest.com/speakforanimals. Follow the directions provided to complete the entry information and submit your cat or dog. A $10 donation is requested for each entry in the contest. You may enter more than one pet. Only pictures of dogs and cats may be submitted.
We recommend photos be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater). Photos may not be edited or altered (other than minor color, contrast or sharpness adjustments).
Speak for Animals reserves the right to decline publication of any photograph for any reason. If a photograph is declined, Speak for Animals will notify the participant and request a replacement.
Once entered, photos become the property of Speak for Animals to be used at its discretion for print and marketing purposes.
How to Vote
Online Voting:
Go to Speak for Animals’ website at www.gogophotocontest.com/speakforanimals. Select the pet(s) for which you wish to vote.
Each $1 donation counts as one vote for that cat/dog. There is no limit to the number of votes one may cast during the contest. Votes may be cast for multiple entries. You may vote for your own pet(s). We encourage you to email the contest link to family and friends and encourage them to vote! Donations are non-refundable.
