Pet's Story or Bio
My Mommy came to the SPCA in June 2023 and saw me all alone in a big glassed in room. I looked as deep as I could into her eyes and it did the trick. She came in, sat down next to me. I liked that she got down to my level as I am a very small dog. She petted me and looked me all over.
She grabbed a ball and took me out side and we played ball.I showed her what a great catch I was and I think that sealed the deal. Next thing I knew we were at a large desk outside the kennels. I wondered if this meant I was going to my forever home. She filled out a stack of papers and the next thing I know I was saying goodbye to the wonderful folks who took me in. I had been wandering the streets of Salinas for what seemed a long time. I was at Hitchcock Shelter and they thought I belonged to the SPCA. Sure glad they moved me or I may never have found my forever home.
Mommy brought me to a town called Pacific Grove into a nice home with a BIG back yard. And even though I can't catch them she has squirrels!! Oh they are my joy. I bark and bark and try to catch them but they are to fast and up to high. Mommy says other than my barking I am a perfect pet! Mommy told me this so it must be true.
I love my forever home and hope to be the best dog she has ever had. Even though I have some big paws to fit into. I think she loves me no matter what and I love my forever home.
