The SPCA of Brevard is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and providing a voice for homeless animals. Founded in 1979 in Titusville, Florida, we are proud to celebrate over 44 years of lifesaving work as the largest private no-kill animal rescue in Brevard County, finding loving homes for more than 1,400 animals each year. In addition to adoption efforts, our Community Pet Project helps keep pets with their families by providing vital resources like our Community Pet Pantry, which feeds over 30 family pets per month. We also operate thrift stores in Titusville and Melbourne, where proceeds directly benefit the animals in our care.
Our mission extends beyond adoption through our foster and volunteer programs, which give animals extra care and socialization. Through programs like Borrowed Buddies, the community can take adoptable dogs on outings, adventures, or even short-term sleepovers, helping them decompress from shelter stress, gain exposure, and find loving homes.
At the SPCA of Brevard, we believe every pet deserves a loving home and we work every day to make that a reality.
