The top three (3) finalists in each category will be invited to attend the Purr-rom on Friday, April 11th at Trinity Oaks (825 Forrest Avenue, Cocoa, FL 32922). The king and queen will be chosen by a panel of SPCA judges.

Each finalist will receive one (1) complimentary ticket for a human companion. Additional guests must purchase a ticket to attend.

The newly crowned king and queen will have their submitted photo featured on a custom label, which will be unveiled at a Purr-rom after-party at Playalinda Brewing Company – Brix Project (5220 S Washington Ave, Titusville, FL 32780) on May 3rd. They will also receive a pack of the Purr-rom King and Queen Brew.

This contest is open to any dog or cat. They do not have to be an alumni of the SPCA of Brevard. No birds, rabbits, critters, farm animals, or exotic pets are eligible for entry. Your pet should be currently living and be able to attend the Purr-rom event on April 11, 2025, if selected. Please understand that there will be people, other animals, music, and dancing at the event.

1. Age Requirement: You must be 21 or older to register your pet for the "Purr-rom King and Queen Brew.”
   
   
2. Contest Timing: The contest opens at 12:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, March 4, 2025 and closes at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Friday, April 4, 2025. All fundraising must occur within these dates.
   
   
3. Winner Announcement: The two winners will be announced at the Purr-rom on April 11th and the homepage of the contest website after the contest closes. The winners will also be contacted directly by the SPCA of Brevard to arrange for photo submissions. The label will be revealed at the Purr-rom after-party at Playalinda Brewing Company on May 3.
   
   
4. Fundraising Verification: Nominees for king & queen will be determined based on the number of points raised by their entry. All donations must be made online and directly to your contest entry on Gogo Photo Contest to be counted towards your fundraising total. All donations to the photo contest are final. To join the contest, you must create an entry on the contest website.
   
   
5. Entry Disqualification: The SPCA of Brevard reserves the right to disqualify an entry based on objectionable content or depiction of the animal or persons in a photo. Donations collected will be refunded if requested by the donors.
   
   
6. Photo Submission Deadline: Photos must meet the image requirements outlined below. If appropriate photos are not provided by the deadline, the SPCA of Brevard will offer the winning place to the next eligible contestant.
   
   
7. Content Usage Agreement: By agreeing to the waiver when you enter the contest, you acknowledge and permit the SPCA of Brevard and Playalinda Brewing Company to use the name, story, and photo of the animal entered in future publications, promotions, and materials.
   
   
8. Image and Name Requirements for Winners:
   
   
   • Photo Rights: Winners must own the rights to the photos they provide (photos taken by professional photographers that have not given written permission are not eligible).
     
     
   • Photo Quality: Photos must be high quality and resolution, include only the winning animal (no other animals or humans), and the animal should occupy no less than 2/3 of the frame.
     
     
   • Background and Focus: Ensure that the photo is sharp and in focus with a clean background.
     
     
   • Policy Compliance: No images in conflict with the SPCA of Brevard’s policies or procedures can be accepted, e.g. no animals can appear to be in distress. If a photo is deemed ineligible, the winning contestant will have five days to submit new photos. If a usable photo cannot be produced, the label will go to the next eligible contestant.
