Finley is a long haired Rottweiler we adopted from the SPCA in April of 2023 at 9 weeks old! Having never owned a Rottie, we were unfamiliar with their traits and character. Turns out they are generally agents of chaos, confident as Napoleon and overall goofballs.

After 2 years of hard work, 2 training classes, six in person training sessions with an expert and 1 1/2 years of 3 day a week doggie day care sessions, he is finally allowed out of his crate at night to sleep wherever he wants.

He is still abundantly expressive when he sees a dog, not because he is aggressive but because he loves all dogs, no matter their size, breed or demeanor. He is so beloved and trusted, they use him to temperament test new dogs at the facility he rules over!

We have never had a dog take over our lives so completely and so comprehensively in such a short time. His demeanor has won over friends who were died in the wool Rottie haters and made them realize how wrong they have been about the true Rottie personality.

Why does your pet deserve to be crowned Purr-rom royalty?
We have never had a dog garner the kind of attention he does. His oversized confidence and his elegant long hair combine to make him an attraction wherever we take him. We keep our boat at BoatTree Marina in Sanford and the picture is him resting his rump on the backrest for the stern seat. That is the King sitting on his Throne!
