Loki was born in Texas to a family friend, and from the moment I saw him, I knew he was my soulmate. He came into our lives when we needed him most. My sister and I had just lost our mom, and my sister’s soulmate fur-baby was in the final stages of her life. Loki became a source of comfort and love, helping us through an incredibly difficult time.

Beyond his sweet personality, Loki has an unforgettable look. His severe underbite only adds to his charm, giving him an adorable, slightly mischievous expression. And when he stands, his little bowlegged stance forms the shape of a heart—almost as if he’s wearing his love for the world on his paws.

To this day, he continues to bring joy not just to our family but to everyone he meets. Our father, who has dementia, recently transitioned into a nursing home in Titusville. Loki visits both dad’s previous assisted living facility and his new home, spreading love wherever he goes. Residents and staff alike always comment on how well-behaved and irresistibly cute he is. He happily showers the elderly with kisses and affection, brightening their days and the weekend receptionist even has special treats for him and always looks forward to seeing him.

Nothing compares to the way my father’s face lights up when he sees Loki. He truly has a gift for bringing happiness and healing to those around him.
