Get ready to flaunt your furball in style! Our top pet champ will steal the spotlight as the star of the 2025 SGF "Snouts and Shoots" Calendar cover. And fear not, our furry friends in 2nd to 13th place will also rock a month each in the calendar lineup!
Everyone's welcome to join - your furry friend doesn't have to be an SGF rescue. We're all about celebrating all dogs, so bring on those entries!
It costs just $20 to enter the contest and each vote is $1 (minimum of 5 votes, please). Every cent goes towards helping pups in need via Sophia's Grace Foundation's medical fund. Plus, your donations are tax-deductible!
Spread the woof and rally those votes - let the fur-tastic fun begin!
Step 1 - Snap That Perfect Pic
Capture your cat or dog at their finest - whether it's a squished nose or an adorable head tilt moment. Just remember, this contest is strictly for the fur babies - humans need not apply! Be sure to check out all the rules before diving in.
Step 2 - Let the Paw-parazzi Roll
Send in your pet's photo along with a $20 donation (a win-win as it supports other pets in need)! Your pet doesn't have to be an SGF alum, just a furry pal who stands paw in paw with our cause!
Step 3 – Gather Votes!
The pets with the most votes will be featured in our calendar! Spread the word about your pet's page to friends, family, colleagues, neighbors, and on your social media platforms – and encourage them to vote!
Each vote is $1 (minimum of 5 votes) and every vote counts as a donation to help our furry friends in need!
Voting ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, September 30, 2024. Remember: Competition heats up in the final days, particularly in the last hours, so stay updated on your entry! Donations made through this photo contest aid our volunteer-operated 501(c)3 rescue organization in assisting homeless dachshunds and small breed dogs, regardless of their condition, age, or duration of care needed.
At SGF, we are confident that our rescue efforts can positively impact the lives of these dogs and the families who welcome them. Your support is crucial for creating happy endings for our rescued dogs. Explore our adoptable dogs and find out more at

About Us
Sophia's Grace Foundation
Sophia's Grace Foundation became a 501(c)(3) rescue in 2014. This was quite the milestone for the organization started by Corinne Zoscak in a grassroots effort to bring comfort and care to companion pets. We would like to thank each of our supporters for helping us help dogs, believing in our organization and continuing to volunteer and make all of this possible.
It is our goal to save the lives of Dachshunds and other small breeds in need regardless of situation, background, condition or the severity of health related issues. A network of volunteers ensures that 100% of all donations serve these pets in their time of need. Volunteers come from many areas including: East Coast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest States.
Mission Statement
We pledge to offer aid to Dachshunds and all small breed dogs in need of rescue. Our aim is to provide care and comfort in honor of our faithful companion Sophia who was a shining example of love, strength and loyalty. Our financial assistance is intended to create a harbor of peace and safety so we may alleviate the physical and emotional suffering of these companion animals while we find them loving forever homes.
Sophia's Story
We founded our group in honor of a dear Dachshund named Sophia Grace. Sophia was a sweet little 12-year old dachshund who was rescued from a situation in NYC where she spent all her life without ever receiving any medical care. When she came into foster rescue she was severely malnourished, sickly and had to have nearly all her teeth pulled. Through the "Grace" of so many selfless contributors we were able to get her the medical care that she so badly needed, and had been denied all her 10 years on earth. We were able to find a loving home for her in Michigan. We were honored that we were able to provide her a soft landing spot for the time she had left. Once I realized what I could do with the help of so many people I was driven to do even more. We have supported over 3,000 pets since Sophia Grace came into our lives. It is in her honor that we founded our organization, and we will honor her with every dog we are able to help now and for many years to come!
