SMILES, in partnership with Shadow Dog Photography, is happy to announce its horse calendar contest for 2025. Proceeds from the photo contest and sale of the calendar will assist SMILES (see below):
"SMILES transcends traditional therapeutic methods by offering individuals of all ages, with special needs, the joy of participating in a horse-assisted program which provides social, emotional, physical, and personal rewards.
Our clients aged four and up benefit from our mounted and unmounted programs. SMILES is accredited through PATH International as a Premier Center, assuring clients the highest standards in the industry. As a non-profit organization with 501(c)3 status, SMILES relies on fundraising events, donors, and volunteers to fulfill its mission. Together, they enable us to make a difference in the lives of those we serve."
Funds raised through this fundraiser will support the facility, programs, and the horse care needs, allowing SMILES to continue its impactful work.
We encourage you to submit your favorite photo of your horse and ask your family and friends to vote for him.
Please review the Contest Rules carefully for submission guidelines; those that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win. Fees for photo entries and votes will help SMILES continue its efforts to serve people in the community.
Grand Prize:
The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes. The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2025 calendar! 1st - 12th place winners will be featured as a horse of the month. The 12 horses with the most votes will be professionally photographed by Shadow Dog Photography for the 2025 calendar.
Reserve a Special Spot In The Calendar For Your Horse:
Honor your horse or celebrate an adoption or birthday by reserving an empty grid space (before or after the numbered squares) for their photo. Choose a favorite photo, select a month, and pay. Each month has a limited number of squares in each grid and will be filled on a first come, first served basis so don't delay! Each grid space is just $15.
