Live & Love Huskies or Northern Breeds Story
I got Akira about two years ago from Tim at Shadow Husky Rescue. She was found as a stray, and despite efforts to find her owner, no one came forward. I initially fostered her for just a few days, but then my mom passed away, and Akira helped me navigate that difficult time. She’s incredibly affectionate, intelligent, and occasionally a bit goofy—but she’s also quite the diva. Huskies are such sensitive creatures, and they make truly wonderful companions.
