Live & Love Huskies or Northern Breeds Story
I met Nookie at the dog park. He was a 2 1/2 year old Siberian/wolf hybrid. He and my female GSD Mckinly got along so well his owner asked if we can spend time together outside the park. Frank was a retired schoolteacher and his personality was infectious. I loved our talks as we let the dogs run free out at the river. He loved Nookie with all his heart and really took the time and effort to make sure he was a good boy. When Frank died suddenly of a heart attack, Nookie came to live with me and Mckinly. We were blessed with his Goober personality for 10 years until we lost him to cancer. He and Mckinly made perfect housemates as he had the looks and she had all the brains. I may be biased, but Ive never seen a more handsome fellow.
