Pets of Humboldt Holiday Photo Contest

Sequoia Humane Society is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter that rescues and adopts cats and dogs. We take in dogs and cats locally in our community, but also work with other organizations regionally to save more animals from high volume shelters. In 2019, SHS adopted 601 cats and dogs to loving homes. Each of those cats and dogs were spayed or neutered, microchipped, given medical care, and vaccinated prior to leaving for their forever home. Every dollar donated in this contest supports cats and dogs in our shelter directly by providing funding for extensive medical care as well as daily care items, such as food and vaccines.

The goal of the Holiday Pet Photo Contest is to benefit Sequoia Humane Society with funding for medical and daily animal care, but we want everyone to have fun with their photos too. Do you have a cat, dog, fish, frog, goat, cow, or hamster? All pet types are welcome! Help spread some cheer - post your pet's photo, vote, and share!

Winners will be posted on our social media pages, on our website, and featured in the Spring Edition of our newsletter, Animal Tracks Quarterly. Winners will also have a choice of three prizes (highest overall vote winner chooses first and so on):
