Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter, in partnership with Nancy Kieffer Photography is happy to announce its Dog calendar for 2026. Proceeds from the sale of the calendar and photo contest will assist Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter care for their shelter dogs.

 We encourage you to submit your favorite photo of your dog and ask your family and friends to vote for them. Please review the Contest Rules carefully for submission guidelines; those that do not follow these rules will not be eligible to win. Fees for photo entries and votes will help Second Chance Canine Adoption Shelter continue their efforts to reduce the amount of healthy adoptable dogs being euthanized in the CNY community.
 

• The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes.
• The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2026 calendar and a featured month! 2nd - 12th place winners will have their dog featured as a dog of the month.
• The top 12 vote getters will have their dog professionally photographed by Nancy Kieffer Photography for the 2026 calendar.

  Want to honor your beloved pet’s memory, gotcha-day, or birthday? Reserve a special photo spot in the calendar! Your pet’s photo will be placed in an open grid space (outside the numbered date squares), making them a part of this meaningful project.
