Any pet owner knows our pets are a consistent source of comfort, support, and love. They're always around to lift our spirits, whether relying on them during the stress of a global pandemic or reaching out for a reassuring pat while researching a heinous unsolved murder. Season of Justice is dedicating its inaugural photo contest to our furry friends, giving them a chance to shine while helping their humans raise money to solve more cold cases.

Prizes | Rules

1. The entry period begins at 9:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 11, 2022 and ends at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, May 11, 2022
2. Find (or take!) a photo of your pet that matches one of our five categories
3. Select 'Enter Contest' to the right, then select your category
4. The entry fee is $5
5. You can enter more than one pet in the contest, however, entrants are limited to one submission per category. Any entrant with multiple pets in the image will be asked to provide an alternative image or be disqualified from the contest. With the exception of the “Who Looks Like Chuck” category, this contest is not limited to just dogs and cats, any pet is eligible!

1. Best Smile - Sponsored by Voices for Justice Podcast: Show us your pet’s million dollar grin!
2. Best Dressed: Does your pet have a penchant for pinstripes? Let them walk down the virtual runway and show off their favorite threads!
3. Next Top Model - Sponsored by DNA Labs International: Not to be confused with Best Dressed, we want to see your pet’s best angles! Tell ‘em to strike a pose and get that camera ready!
4. Best Action Shot: Calling all adventure pets! Got pictures of your pet getting serious air or enjoying a swim? Maybe you caught their goofy mid-run face or skateboarding down the street. Whatever your pet’s favorite activity may be, we want to see them in action!
5. “Who Looks Like Chuck?” (dogs only please!): The original Pruppet everyone knows and loves is on the hunt for his doppleganger! Think your pup looks the most like Chuck? This category is for you!

1. Voting begins at 9:00:00 AM (Eastern Time) on Monday, April 11, 2022 and closes at 9:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Monday, July 11, 2022. Winners will be announced on July 12 at 6 pm ET.
2. If your animal receives the most votes in your chosen category - they will be that category's winner!
3. A runner up will also be announced for each category.
4. The animal who receives the most votes overall will be crowned our “Best in Show” Grand Prize winner and Crime Junkie’s Pruppet of the Month for August!
5. Share your pet's page with friends and family asking them to vote for your pet ($1 = 1 Vote), you can vote as many times as you want. Let your family and friends know their donation goes towards solving cold cases by providing grants for advanced DNA testing, forensic genealogy, and awareness campaigns.
6. Get creative! Share your pet’s page on social media, create a QR code to share with friends, family, your mailman, the nice cashier at the grocery store, etc. The possibilities are endless! Plus, every dollar raised goes directly to solving cold cases.
