Prizes

• The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes.
• The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2025 calendar, as well as a feature as a pet of the month!
• 2nd - 12th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month.
• Entries featuring two pets will share a month if they place among the top 12 vote recipients.
• The top 12 vote recipients will have their pet professionally photographed by Melissa Maahs Photography for the 2025 calendar.
• The top 12 vote recipients will receive one complimentary 5x7 matted art print and the low resolution, watermarked digital version (perfect for social media sharing) of the image that will appear in the calendar.
• All winners will have the opportunity to purchase products and additional images following their session, if desired.

*If your pet is one of the 12 to be photographed for the calendar, you must be able to bring your pet to Melissa Maahs Photography, located in the Durham Region, Ontario area during May-September, 2024 for a professional on-location (outdoor), micro photo session to capture the image to be featured in the 2025 calendar. If you are unable to commit to a photo session during those times or find yourself unable to travel to these pre-selected location, you forfeit your winning and the next top vote getter will take your pet's spot in the calendar, no exceptions.

• One pet in weeks 1, 3, 4 and 5 who receives the highest number of new votes for a particular week will win a mini-contest prize from one of the participating businesses.
  
  
• One pet in week 2 who is the first NEW entry to get the most votes between Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 8AM ET and Sunday March 23rd, 2024 at 8AM ET wins the mini-contest prize that will be announced on March 16th, 2024.  Note: entries on or previous to March 17th, 2024 7:59 AM ET do not qualify for this mini-contest).

In the event of a tie for each particular week's contest, or if there are no new votes for that week, a random computerized drawing will be held for all eligible pets.
