What Makes Your Cat Special?
Cleo and her sister Jess (not pictured) came into my life after the death of my beloved Bea. In my nearly 75 years I have only lived without a cat or two for a few months total and have been blessed with some extraordinary companions. Cleo and Jess make my life a joy and truly top the list.
I decided to feature Cleo instead of a duet like last year because 2024 was particularly hard for her and I wanted to celebrate her in this new year. Twice last year, Cleo had hip surgery to repair a congenital defect and spent many months in recovery. Through all the doctor visits (shout out to Dr Norstrem and Crestwood Animal Hospital in Federal Way for wonderful care), the medicines, the pain and frustration, Cleo was a real trooper, always sweet and loving. In honor of her recovery, meet sweet Cleo.
