Last year, your photos and votes raised $24,000 for cats at SAFe.
This June, we're back — and we'd love to do it again.
Enter your cat's best photo and the top vote-getter wins a custom illustrated portrait by local artist Sadie Pie Designs, a poster displayed in SAFe's Adoption Center, their portrait on the front of the 2026 SAFe Rescue Collectible Playing Card Deck, and their photo on a card of their choice.
The top 52 finalists will receive special recognition. Check out the Prizes section below for all the details!

Card suits and ranks will be assigned at random, except for first place, who will receive their choice of card.
How to Participate:
- Voting/submissions open from 10:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Monday, June 1, 2026 to 9:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Tuesday, June 30, 2026
- $20 to enter a cat photo
- Submission fee includes 20 votes
- $1 = 1 vote
- $5 minimum vote purchase
- All entries/votes happen through the contest website
Eligible Photos:
- One cat per entry
- Entries with more than one cat will need to be resubmitted, but we’ll follow up with the entrant and allow them to submit an updated photo at no additional cost
- Only photos of pet cats are allowed.
- Cats do not need to be SAFe Alumni (but feel free to share if they are in the bio!)
- Make sure you own the photo or have the owner’s permission to share it
- Photos must be original, real-life images of your cat. AI-generated images, AI-enhanced images, heavily edited photos, composites, digital artwork, or images with major alterations are not eligible for the contest.

- Keep your photo and caption appropriate for everyone to enjoy
- Clear, front-facing photos are preferred
- By sharing your photo, you grant SAFe Rescue publication rights for the photo and caption
- By participating, you’ll be added to our email list, but you can unsubscribe anytime
- Be sure to share your entry with your friends and family so they can vote!
