Despite a challenging start living on the streets, being diagnosed with chronic kidney disease at age 5, and spending 9 months at a shelter before being adopted, Toby's spirit remains unbroken. He embodies the saying "home is where the heart is", settling in wherever his parents take him. He is a STAR because he has been a constant source of support, companionship, and loyalty (only running away once to sneak into the neighbors house to steal their cat's food...naturally) and have turned many people into cat-lovers!
