Atlas was abandoned on the streets of wadmalaw left starving and searching for a home. I sat an hour away still grieving the loss of my pit bull Apollo, when a friend reached out and said a cut pittie had showed up on her friends back porch and would I be interested? I took 1 look at his picture and said if he’s good with other dogs I’ll take him. When I met him at the shelter I couldn’t help but burst into tears as I knew my Apollo had sent him to heal me. From the day I adopted him he never leaves my side! Even when I’m in the hammock! He loves all other dogs and people! He’s super gentle with his 13 yr old dog sister Hera. Always the life of the party he brightens even the darkest day! I may have given him a home but he has put my heart back together!
