Charleston Animal Society, Palmetto Brewing Company, WCSC Live 5 News and Cupcake DownSouth have joined forces to celebrate dogs and cats and the people who love them with the first ever Rescue Brew Spokesdog and Spokescat contest! One winning dog and one winning cat will have their image appear on the new release of the 2020 Rescue Brew beer this fall. The Rescue Brew beer is a limited small batch production by Palmetto Brewing Company in Charleston, South Carolina.


Nominations are open from August 10th to September 8th. Submit a photo of your pet and tell us why your dog or cat is the perfect Spokesdog or Spokescat for pets everywhere! Voting for your favorites is from September 9th to October 8th and each vote cast is a $1 donation to the Charleston Animal Society. The three dogs and three cats with the most votes will each receive a $100 gift certificate for pet supplies at Charleston Animal Society plus a "Pupcakes" prize package from Cupcake DownSouth. One grand prize winning dog and one grand prize winning cat will be selected by our judges to appear on the labels of the 2020 Rescue Brew beer.
