Pet's Story or Bio
We think he was hit by a car. Someone found him on the side of the road one night, in the rain, no collar. They dropped him off at a clinic. The vet didn’t think they could save his front legs. It was right before Thanksgiving and he didn’t think anyone would want to take care of him in his condition over the holidays. The vet tech said she’d take care of him until they found a home for him. Her mom knew my aunt so that was how we found each other. He was in two full arm casts for 3 months. I was finally able to take him home over MLK weekend when we decided his name should be Benen which is Dutch for legs. That was almost 4 years ago and he’s been happy and healthy ever since :)
