A little about me...
I'm a fun-loving, outgoing, adventurous six-year old whippet-mix currently residing in Alexandria, VA. I was found roaming the shores of Waianae Beach, Oahu before I was rescued at only 6 weeks old. Shortly thereafter, I found my forever family with Esther and Jimmy (aka mom and dad) and made the trek from Hawaii to the mainland US. I can regularly be found zooming around and making friends at Founder's Park, chasing squirrels away from the bird feeder, getting my 10,000 daily steps in around the neighborhood, sunbathing in my yard, napping on telework days, and munching on snacks --and my favorite summertime treat, peanut butter ice cream.

Good luck to the other perros in this competition! I hope all the pups under the care of the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria are fortunate enough to find their forever families like me.
