Meet Heidi Bear! aka #1290. Heidi Bear is how Peace for Paws Ohio was born. When Heidi was still just a number at a shelter facing euthanasia due to overcrowding, her crazy mama saw her on Facebook and knew she was meant to be her family. So thanks to some volunteers, #1290 made it to Columbus and was named Heidi. Though Heidi’s mom saved her life that day, Heidi is really the one who saved her mom and now near 2,000 other animals. She has a heart of gold and is the best friend her mom could ever ask for.
