A little about me...
Chikeira is our rescue chicken. She loves to be with the girls in the yard or come inside on a cold day and stretch her legs in front of the space heater. Chikeira walks with the kids on a harness and knows all the lady’s at our local Starbucks and Baskin Robbins. She (and her sister chickens) are now the main attraction on our street. We’ve placed a treat jar along the sidewalk fence and some people walk 2 miles to come let their kiddos feed and say hi to the lady hens. She has given us a sense of community and also a great reason to meet so many neighbors during the pandemic.
