About Heartwood Haven
Heartwood Haven is a 501(c)(3) animal sanctuary and rescue located in Gig Harbor, WA. We primarily work with animal control and rescue farm animals from neglect, abuse, and abandonment cases. Once the animals have been rehabilitated we find them loving and kind forever homes through our adoption program. If an animal is unable to be adopted then they live their lives here with us at Heartwood Haven. In addition to our animal rescue work we also provide a pet food bank for low income individuals in our community in hopes to keep animals in their homes with their families forever.
